		<description>I assume you mean SOL=Statute of Limitations....The 10 Yr statute is from the date of assessed tax....Some of the problems could be...1) at some point along the line, you filed for an offer in compromise 2) you filed bankruptcy...both of these would serve to extend the Statute of Limitations...  Another problem you might have is that the year in question, is not the problem....there may be other years, that are causing you problems...IE you think the problem is 1995, when in fact it is really 2001.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Or it is always possible that the IRS has made a mistake.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;HTH</description>
